• If you vouch for someone, you provide evidence or guarantee something on their behalf.
  If you vouch for your brother, you're saying he's a stand-up type of guy.
  
• Confirm that someone is who they say they are or that they are of good character.
• Assert or confirm as a result of one's own experience that something is true or accurately so described.
• To support as being true, certain, reliable, etc.

The following sites/forums are well known and respected in the Oldschool Runescape services community.

• sythe
  • one of the oldest service selling forums therefor trusted sellers will have many vouches on their thread
  • accounts are checked on IP addresses, this prevents people from vouching for themselves on alt accounts
  • highly moderated forum
  • scammers get their accounts banned and threads closed given there's enough proof against them
• osbot
• powerbot

• trustpilot
  • has no review process
  • negative/warning reviews are easily removed under 'fake review from a competitor', meaning they can delete all but their own fake reviews with extreme ease
• the cape seller's site itself
  • this one should be obvious; there is no way to validate the legitimacy of these vouches as these can be created by the scammer themself

Even if you decide not to order from us, we'd hate to see you get scammed. Please read the following points to increase your ability to spot scammers:

• look for the cape seller to have a thread on sythe with a good amount of vouches; if they don't at least have a sythe thread this is a MAJOR red flag
• wondering if the price is too good to be true? it probably is. please be cautious when a drastically lower price is advertised compared to others
• do the math: if they are claiming to have done 200+ capes with very little vouches, it is likely to be a scam
• reused images: if their 'proof images' appear on multiple service sites, please be cautious
